For the purposes of this Regulation we mean:
COMPANY and / or NAVAL CARRIER : CAREMAR, Campania Regionale Marittima S.p.A.
PASSENGER : any person who has concluded a contract of maritime transport of persons and, due to the effect, is the holder of a travel document issued by the carrier through its sales channels.
VEHICLE : any vehicle for private or public use, intended for the transport of persons or goods, travelling with the passenger.
TICKET : travel document proving the conclusion of the transport contract, that is, the ticket pursuant to ex art. 396 of the Navigation Code. The transport contract relates to the maritime transport of passengers, vehicles, luggage, goods and animals, from the port of departure to the port of arrival as regulated by articles 396 ss of the Navigation Code and by EU Regulation 1177/2010.
